Microsoft Word 2016 combines a comprehensive set of writing tools to create and share professional-looking, dynamic documents using familiar writing, reviewing, and data integration capabilities. Students will learn how to navigate Microsoft Word 2016 software and use the many design features available in the program. Our Microsoft Word 2016 course will show you how to create and edit professional-looking documents for a variety of purposes and situations, whether at home or on the job.

Word Basics

Learn the basics of creating and managing documents in Word 2016 by familiarizing yourself with how to open, edit and save your document. Understanding how to properly edit text will make creating your document effortless. We will also discuss how to select commands, change color schemes and work with protected documents.

Proofreading and Formatting

Module two covers multiple proofreading and formatting features that will help you create the perfect document in Word 2016. Some of the features you’ll be introduced to are how to use spell check, track changes and work with the comments feature. You’ll learn how to format paragraphs, set line spacing and how to create a numbered list.

Pages, Tables and Charts

Microsoft Word 2016 Module 4
Graphics and Customization

Module four illustrates various features and interesting tricks to enhance your documents. You’ll learn how to work with pictures and WordArt. You will also to, design ribbons, add keyboard shortcuts and create letters and labels for mass mailing. Finally, you’ll be introduced to the Cloud and Office 365.

    • Cookies MUST be enabled
    • Pop-ups MUST be allowed (Pop-up Blocker disabled)
  • The Kindle Reader App or VitalSource Bookshelf App are needed for many of our courses (No special equipment needed. This can be downloaded for FREE onto your computer.)
  • PowerPoint Viewer (if you do not have PowerPoint)
  • Adobe PDF Reader
